Sam Miller is in his fourth year as a member of the UAB Athletics staff and his 10th year at UAB. Miller joined the university in 1997 as a member of the UAB Creative and Marketing Group, where he worked closely with Blazer athletics. While with the Creative and Marketing Group, Miller worked on several award-winning advertising campaigns for UAB football and basketball. He also provided marketing support for various other university entities including the School of Business and the School of Public Health. Miller earned his bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Alabama in 1997, and his M.B.A. from UAB in 2003. He is a member of several professional and service organizations including the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA). PERSONAL: Miller, a Birmingham native who attended Mountain Brook High School, is married to the former Robin Culver of Dothan, Ala. They have three children, Macey (8), Marian (3) and Caroline (2). |
