Aaron Jordan, who rejoined the UAB Athletics program in July of 2006 as Associate Athletics Media Relations Director, enters his fourth year at UAB. Jordan, who also spent two years at UAB from 2002-04, is the media liaison for the men's soccer, men's basketball and men's golf teams. Prior to his latest stint with the Blazers, Jordan was the Associate Director for Media Relations at Indiana University from 2004-06. While there, Jordan was the media contact for the nationally-ranked men's basketball team, working directly with current UAB Men's Basketball Head Coach Mike Davis. He also supervised the media relations efforts for Indiana's 2004 and 2005 men's soccer team, as well as the team's 2004 national championship run. Jordan also completed internships with the Southeastern Conference (2001-02) and East Carolina University (2000-01) Media Relations' departments. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native is a graduate of Kent State University (B.S.). He is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), as well as the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA).
